SAFETY IS OUR TOP PRIORITY!

Funfair Amusements is committed to creating the most professional, enjoyable and safe amusement ride experience in the industry. There is nothing more important than the safety of our guests, which is why we go to such great lengths to ensure our attractions are maintained, set up and operated in strict accordance to manufacturer's and Australian standards.

We buy the newest, safest and most popular amusement rides available from reputable manufacturers world-wide. Every ride and attraction is thoroughly inspected and tested after set up and before opening to the public for operations. Qualified structurally and electrical engineers regulary inspect and certify all mechanical amusements. All mechanical devices are regularly maintained, serviced and NDT crack tested as per manufacturer's specifications. By following stringent equipment management practices over the past 25 years, we have built up a reputation for reliability, safety and customer satisfaction that is second to none.

TOP OF THE RANGE INFLATABLES

When it comes to quality, our range of inflatable Jumping Castles, Slides and Interactives is one of the best in the business. All inflatable amusement devices were manufactured in the United Kingdom by the company who designed and constructed the first ever Jumping Castle 50+ years ago.

Whilst low priced, Asian manuafactured copies of our inflatables are readily available at less than half the cost of the UK originals, we will never compromise quality or safety. UK manufactured inflatables are far superior in all aspects of ride operation including:

  • Certified Flame Retardent materials
  • Designed in accordance with Australian Standards
  • Certified and tested tie-down points
  • Structurally designed to cater for children to 15 years
  • Firm beds with large humps which maximise children's enjoyment
  • First-class colours, graphics are artwork
  • Superior reliability, safety and performance

As the saying goes, you only get what you pay for. Many "budget" inflatable suppliers offer cheap Asian imports, that are not set up or operated in accordance with Australian standards, Many such inflatable installations are not correctly secured with weights or pegs, lack the required perimeter fencing and landing mats, and are supervised by persons who have insufficient training.

When booking amusement devices including inflatables, event organisers are responsible for ensuring the device is set up and operated correctly. Should an accident occur, and deficiencies exist in the set up or operation of the amusement device, the ride owner AND event organiser can be held accountable for fines and/or negligence damages.

We want you to have an enjoyable experience when riding our attractions. There are important rules that must ALWAYS be followed when riding amusement devices of any kind. RIDER BEHAVIOUR

According to expert reports, approximately 80% of all ride accidents are due to patron misbehaviour such as sitting incorrectly in the seat, standing in the seat, throwing objects from the ride, and extending arms or legs outside of the seat. Riders who do not meet entry requirements, and attempt to avoid detection is another issue. Whilst actions like this may seem like harmless fun, the results can be severe. It is therefore important that Ride Rules are followed at all times.

Amusement rides remain one of the safest forms of entertainment available today. It's up to ride operators. their guests and parents to work together to maintain a safe fairground environment.
