Funfair Amusements started operations in 1996. Since then, we have personally attended thousands of private, corporate and community events throughout SE Qld and Northern NSW.
We supply amusement rides for events in South East Queensland and Northern NSW. This area includes Brisbane, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, Darling Downs and the Northern Rivers NSW.
All private, corporate and community events including School Fetes, Corporate Promotions, Community Festivals, Street Fairs, Major Shows, Private Parties, Country Fairs. Food and Wine, Shopping Centre Promotions, Family Fun Days, Christmas Carols and more.
Amusement rides can be booked either on a Flat-Rate Hire format or 80/20 Share of Sales arrangement. If an organisation hires the attraction on a Flat-Rate Hire format, a set fee for each attraction is paid for a set operating period, which usually runs for 4-5 hours. The organiser decides whether access to the attractions is free of charge or via pass-as-you-go wrisbands/tickets. Alternately, we may be able to supply amusement rides on an 80/20 Share of Sales basis. Please see our FAQ Financials page for further details.
Adults can accompany their children on all mechaincal rides except the Mini Swings. Height and size restrictions may apply. Please check each amusement ride specification for details. Adults (ages 16+) are NOT permitted on inflatable amusement devices.
Yes, all rides have restrictions which may relate to rider height, size, health or age. Health restrictions include riders with specific medical problems, wearing casts etc. Please check each amusement ride specifications for details.
Yes. We only supply amusement rides for hire with fully trained Funfair staff members, who supervise operations throughout the event. We do have Sideshow Games, Interactive Activities and Fun Food equipment that may be hired and operated by the hirer. We set up and provide all training at the event.
Yes, we can provide a range of special event services including roving entertainers, food catering, sideshow games, stage hire, fireworks displays and more. Some services are sourced via trusted associated suppliers.

We prefer to set up on firm level grass if possible. Large attractions such as Dodgem Cars, Round Up, Miami Trip, Sizzler etc can be set up on level concrete or bitumen. We cannot set up inflatables on gravel. Grass is preferred for inflatables, as we can secure with pegs. We can set up inflatables on concrete or bitumen, however, weights will be required to secure.
Yes, our inflatable jumping Castles are fitted with shade covers.

Yes, our mechanical amusement devices are inspected and certified by structural engineers. We inspect all amusement rides after set up and before operations at each event.
Yes, we have single phase generators for small events, and large three-phase generators for events where multiple attractions are booked. Lighting is included for evening events
In addition to the very best fairground rides for all ages, we can also supply a geat range of special event services including delicious fun food such as Fairy Floss, Snow Cones and Popcorn; Ice Cream and Gelati Vans; Fireworks Displays; Stage, Sound and Band Hire; Carnival Games; Entertainers and much more!
